A User Review is the first hand experience of our readers, with a particular product, service or software penned down by them. Why should I write a User Review? To express your views about a particular product or service and tell other readers whether they should or should not opt for that product or service. How do I go about writing a User Review? You analyze a particular product/service from your own perspective and tell other readers what you think about it. You also rate it on a scale of 5 (0 for worst and 5 for perfect) on various parameters like Features, Design, Value for Money, Service, Ease of Use and in the end, provide an overall rating. Optionally, you can use the text box on the left of the ratings to justify your rating or for providing more information about the product/service that you may deem necessary. After you are done with that, kindly provide the Purchase and Supplier details and hit the Submit button. Is it mandatory to rate all the fields mentioned above? Only the Overall rating field is mandatory. The rest is as per the convenience of the reviewer and his knowledge and experience with the product. The reviewer is free to enter information about and rate those fields that he thinks are necessary for the other readers to make an informed choice. What makes me eligible to write a User Review? You should own the product/service or should have used the product long enough to pass your judgment on it. Also, you need to be registered on Techtree and logged in to submit your review. Why should I register to use User Reviews? Everyone visiting our site can read and search through the User Reviews section. However only users who have registered and signed in can write and request reviews for specific products. To login or register with Techtree.com, click the sign up for a new user or Register today ! link found in the top right box on the home page. From there you can login with your existing username and password, or register to create a new username and password. Registration is quick and easy, and requires you to specify a username that will be shared externally on all your posts How do I find a product I want to review or request a review for? You can enter the User Reviews section from the home page menu. To search for a specific product just select the necessary product category, brand name and model number you want to review or request a review for. Alternatively, you can also write a review about a product from that products specification page that you will see when you select the specific brand and model from the product or brand page. How do I read the User Review of a specific product? You can read the user review of a specific product by going directly to the user review page and selecting the respective product category and brand of the product whose review you want to read. But if you are already reading the editorial review and features specifications of a specific product selected, there is a Read User Reviews/Prices for this Product (no. of reviews) option at the top of the features listing. Select this option and it will give you a list of all the reviews written for that particular product. What if that product is not reviewed? In case the product is not reviewed you can either write a review yourself or request the Techtree.com community to review this product for your information. To write your review for that product select the Add Your Review/Price option from that products feature listing page. To request a review, add your request for that product from the User Reviews page. How do I request for a Review? To request a review, just select the User Reviews Section from the Home Page. Once you are in the User Reviews section, select the specific product category, brand and model you want reviewed and select the request for review option. We will notify you by mail, when one of our readers has reviewed your requested product.
